Missing a dear friend......

I just wanted to share this altered hoop for a very dear friend who passed away this year... I created this special for her as she was fighting cancer, and just down... She loved it, and that made my heart happy... I have her laying heavy on my mind lately and just missing her and wanted to share this altered hoop with everyone...

I can't help but wonder where it is now, but I know that it touched her heart and that touched my heart! ♥

Altered tin with a gift....

I am sharing the altered tin I did for one of our group swaps.. I also included a little gift inside the tin for my swap partner... The gift is a jewelry set I made for her using paper beads I made.. I am addicted to making paper beads and jewelry using them...

I really had fun with this tin, and am happy with how it turned out... Now on to the jewelry set I did for her...

I used paper beads I made, along with some other beads and a cross charm.. I am working on several other sets, and more paper beads to create even more jewelry sets... It's so addicting!!

Altered CD....

I'm taking time today to share the altered CD I worked on for the ART group I am in.. I have never done this before, but I enjoyed doing this..

Altered Embroidery Hoop

I love altered ART, and all the different ways you can alter just about anything... We have a monthly altered ART swap in our group https://groups.io/g/CreatingARTFriendships.. This month the swap was to alter an embroidery hoop.. I have never attempted this before, so I was excited to work on this.. Here is what I came up with....

I LOVE the way it turned out, What do you think?? I made up a bunch of different flowers and used some of them in this hoop.. I love to make my own flowers, as well as all of my embellishments..

This picture shows a bit of a close up, and shows how I raised the frame with cheese cloth behind it..
This was a FUN swap and am looking forward to the next one, we are doing an altered CD..

Washi Tape Card...

I have to admit I have never used washi tape for a card... I do like the way I used it and how it looks on this card.. The flowers are colored with sharpies, and matched perfectly with the washi tape..  

I used the black cardstock as the card, and layered teal and white cardstock on top.. The flowers are raised with foam to give it a little pop...

Bird feeder....

I had found on pinterest these cute little bird feeders made using wine bottles... Well... I just happen to have SEVERAL wine bottles... LOL
I love wine, and had saved the bottles thinking I could use them for crafts, I probably have over 40 saved, I had to start throwing them away... Anyways, I have so many ideas stored away for using the wine bottles for crafts... SO.. hopefully I will get to do more using them...
Anyways I did get to make this cute bird feeder and love it!!

I have it hanging on my back fence above my garden, and bird bath... I love to sit out on my back patio with my morning coffee watching the birds and hearing their chirps..
This was really easy to make and brightens up the fence for my birdies...

ART Journal Pages...

Hello.... I wanted to share a couple of the pages I made for a friend, who is working on an ART journal.. There are a few of us working on ART journals, myself included and we are swapping pages within the group. The theme of her Art journal is "Wings", and here is what I came up with for her journal.. 

This is the first spread I made... This is the first time for me making an ART journal, and I am really liking the fact of a keepsake book of my friends art.. I will say I am learning more and more as I play with this.. Anyways, here is my second spread...

I am hoping they are well liked by my friend and that they will work for her "Wings" ART journal...

Easter...

We celebrated Easter with an awesome Church service, then fun filled family get together... I slow cooked a brisket in the oven and it turned out just perfect.. The kids enjoyed there egg decorating and egg hunt, and made out like candy bandits! LOL
Today is my Birthday and I plan on spending the day in my ART haven..
I would like to share with you my Easter Easel card I created...

Paper Bead Jewelry

Good Morning! I have started working on making paper beads again, and made this Bracelet and Earrings set...  I have decided to get back into making my jewelry and paper beads, as it is something I truly enjoy... SO here is the Jewelry Set I came up with using my paper beads....

I am sure I will have many more to share with you as I plan to make several more paper beads and jewelry sets...

Altered Heart ♥...

I made this heart for a friend, with the SEA in mind.. She enjoys the SEA and I wanted to create something for her to have in her ART spot that reminded her of the SEA... I really love what I came up with, and am so very happy.... 

I had lots of fun creating this piece of ART!!
